A long time ago there weren't a lot of stars in the sky.There was A Girl who Loved all things in the sky,The moon..The sun and Every star. She was very kind, Helping others both human and animal. She saw as everyone around her fell in love and Have a family. She was sad because she couldn't find anyone to love her. She grew old, Each day wishing for someone to love her as she did the sky. Late at night when snow was lightly falling and the moons beams shown from spots in the clouds The girl passed away warm in her bed dreaming about The stars.
The girl awoke Feeling safe and free. Opening her eyes she Looked around to see she was A small girl again and in the sky she loved so much, Laughing in happiness she ran around Space Until she came upon a very bright star.She said to the bright star" I always wondered what made you so bright..Can you tell me?" The star Replied softly "Little girl, Your Love for me made me shine bright" The girl hugged the star and ran along to the next one who she asked the same thing,Which replied the same thing. Over and over again Untill she got to the smallest star.
She asked "Little star, Why do you shine The brightest?" The star blushed and said in a very shy voice "Little girl, You gazed on us so much I fell in love with you so I Shined so much so you would love me more." The girl started to cry, the star thought it was something it said "Little girl, I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you sad" The little girl smiled through her tears and hugged the star" I'm not sad. I finally have someone who loves me" All the stars looked at the girl "Little girl, We have always loved you. So Does the moon and the sun" She cried and cried And each tear became a new star who loved her Just as much as the others. When she stopped crying The sky was full of new stars.
Over the years She and the stars,moon and the sun became best friends. She looked at the earth and saw all her friends And their families Playing games, She cried again but in happiness. "Whats wrong little girl?" Asked the sun. She turned around "I'm just so happy I have a family now too. And They're so happy It makes me Even happier" To this day she still looks down Smiling at all the little kids who look at the sky, Making every star twinkle even brighter.
