it's been almost 1 year since my last journal update, it's hard to believe whee
I'm dropping in again for a bit to help spread the word about an art contest on Gaia held by my partner in crime, kixies! We've been helping out with the mascot designs for American Cosplay Paradise, aka ACP, a website for cosplayers & cosplay photographers all around the world to post their work. So to help promote the site, we have a mascot art contest! It's very simple- no cosplay required, just art~ so please participate! It runs until July 15th, so there's plenty of time and the prizes are quite good 3nodding

ACParadise is the most organized place around to post and search for your favorite cosplay photos. Comprised of ACP for girl cosplayers, ACE for guy cosplayers, and ACS just for photographers. If you are interested in cosplay and are looking for a super organized place to post your photos, please sign up whee Though it's called American Cosplay Paradise, by no means do you need to be American to join. In fact there is actually quite a notable international userbase~ they frequently hold cosplay contests sponsored by well known anime and game companies like FUNnimation, with popular series such as One Piece, Fullmetal Alchemist, Tsubasa Chronicles, Kingdom Hearts, and many more. But to participate you gotta sign up, so imasugu gogogo~

as for myself, I'm still in Tokyo, continuing my schooling 3nodding usually it's just school, though sometimes when I have free time, I go out and get to see some pretty amazing things~ for instance, I got to see Kanno Yoko's Tanabata concert in Saitama, May'n's BIG WAAAAAVE!! concert, attend Tokyo Game Show, run around and help sell books at Comic Market, and many other exciting things. I try to come back to the states and visit as often as I can, but that usually only ends up being twice a year. crying after all, plane tickets are very expensive...
