Alone in the Dark she sits and waits
she waits for the nightly cue
And all the time she ponders and she hates
the way you dye your tears the color blue

making oceans of her red-eyed tears
Her voice silenced by the lies she hides
a voice speaking she cannot hear
Alone in the Dark she hopes you'll come
but too many anight she slips behind a viel
This waiting causes sirens, beating like heavenly drums
and her heart beat stops...Ending this sorrowful tale
