I've read it and found it to be a great disappointment.
1- where was all the excitement and balls and stuff?
2- Lucy wasn't a giant skank, I liked Lucy way better then Mina. In fact I didn't really like Mina at all. Jonathan was a total pansy. I liked all three of Lucy's suitors and Van Helsing was old...(Stupid misleading Dracula movies).
3- It should've been called Jonathan Harker's Whines and Van Helsing's Long-Awaited Victory, or something along those lines because it was all from mostly their point of view (besides some from Mina and the Dr.) and nothing from Dracula's. If only. I great disappointment indeed. And all the Dracula movies lied about the characters. THERE WAS NO LOVE BETWEEN DRACULA AND MINA! NONE AT ALL! But I'll allow Hellsing to get away with it. It's not a big part of the story, except for explaining why Alucard was always so sad. smile
