xxxxxxxx The manga focused on a bunch of short stories involving the UTAU, and exists to better establish their characters and personalities. The plot line is pretty basic; Acoustic Studios is just recently beginning to use UTAUloids for their recordings. After picking the UTAU that they want to use regularly the group is moved in to an apartment that the studios rented for them, so that they're always by the recording studio. After establishing this, the manga will focus on day-to-day activities of the Utau, usually relating to the most recently released song.
Chapter 01 ; Hishoku no Sora
Being the selfish 001 Utau, Imou claims the narrative role of the first chapter. This takes place before the UTAU are in the company, when Imou is desperately trying to steal front stage. After getting herself a proper audition and showing off her singing, Imou lands a role in the company... but not before learning that her effort was pointless, because they were already planning on using her in an UTAU group.
