Equipment:
The Cockblocker - Exactly what it says on the tin. This is a bat made of solid steel, and weighs half a ********. It's also pretty much impossible to break without gratuitous applications of supernatural abilities.
Point Maker - A regular titanium bat wrapped in barbed wire. Yeah, that's about it.
Da Breaker - An enchanted Louisville Slugger. Upon impact with anything, whether it was swung, dropped, or thrown, the bat releases a concussive blast that effectively triples the force of the blow. In some cases, this is enough to bend or break steel, and will usually crack, if not pulverize anything the bat is dropped on. The name comes from the idea that anything hit with the bat is the breakee.
Metal Arm - Not technicially equipment, but still. Captain Corvus's entire left arm is made of metal. It's source of power is unknown, and the arm itself is rather resistant to damage. Perhaps if asked nicely Corvus will let those of the tinkering persuasion look at it.
The Captain's Coat - Captain Corvus's coat is made of thick leather that has been specially treated to be more resistant to heat, cold, and electricity. It won't stop a sword or knife, but it'll certainly slow it, and stop most glancing blows. It's also weather resistant, because sailing in a storm in a leather coat would suck otherwise.
The Bat Bag - Despite the special name, this is really just a sports bag that Corvus uses to carry his bats. It's had padding added on the inside to keep Da Breaker from going off under normal circumstances.
