It's an odd poetry day.
A Dive Into Mind
I wipe this bead of sweat off of my brow
As I stand up from my day's work
And look around at the world around me.
As I do so, a maelstrom of emotion
Engulfs me into a world that I know far too well
And when the raging vortex finally dies down
I stand up even straighter than before
Not even dazed by the twisting and thrashing
Smiling from ear to ear
And walk away
