Walk a little straighter,
Lend me your ear.
Keep me safe from my fears,
Always be there to dry my tears.
Let me be the one you trust above all others,
The one you love like no one before.
I’ve hurt so many,
And made so many mistakes. . .
Show me that you don’t hold it against me.
Walk a little slower,
I don’t feel like running.
Help me find myself in this myriad of emotional rage.
Please help me.
I’m so lost…
I seem to have lost my way,
The tunnel is all black,
There is no more hope for such a life,
And there’s no point trying to hold my tears back.
You don’t understand,
Exactly what I feel,
As far as you’re concerned.
Where my heart meets the world,
There’s a huge crack,
From all the mistakes I’ve made.
Save me from my demons,
Don’t ever let me give up.
Keep me going,
You’re my only hope.
I feel like my mistakes are endless,
Like there’s no point in going on.
I might as well just stop this ride.
What’s the point of living,
When the world just wishes you’d die?
I hate these thoughts,
I hate these tears.
The way this lays out all my fears.
But my biggest fear,
(And this is true)
My absolute biggest fear is losing you.
