Today's Scripture "I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life." 1 John 5:13 Here is the remedy for the insecurity blues: HOLD ONTO THE FACTS! Remember what Jesus said in John 5:24: "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life." NASB The Gospel of John declares: "But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God." John 1:12 I will never tire of hearing these awesome words of assurance: "Since we believe human testimony, surely we can believe the greater testimony that comes from God. And God has testified about his Son. All who believe in the Son of God know in their hearts that this testimony is true. Those who don't believe this are actually calling God a liar because they don't believe what God has testified about his Son. And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God's Son does not have life. Conclusion I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life." 1 John 5:9-13 There were probably times when Noah was in the ark that he didn't FEEL saved, but he was safe! ~Todays Psalm~ Psalm 96, verses 1-3, "Sing a new song to the LORD! Let the whole earth sing to the LORD! Sing to the LORD; praise his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves. Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does." ~Todays Proverb~ Proverbs 6, verses 20-22, "My son, obey your father’s commands, and don’t neglect your mother’s instruction. Keep their words always in your heart. Tie them around your neck. When you walk, their counsel will lead you. When you sleep, they will protect you. When you wake up, they will advise you."
