I tend to create plots to suit a request as I tend to prefer more open sandbox play to begin with but these are some of my quick and easy plots that can be overlaid quickly. Of course, we can always create our own plot and run with that or you can let me look over yours if you have one you are dying to use.
modern fantasy - the fade
no disease had ever so crippled the magic world like the fade has. an infection spreading through dreams that slowly drains powers, making a person go from lethargic to withering away at an alarming rate. what is to be done about this? what cause it and how can it be stopped?
modern fantasy - slender man
the slender man preys on children, using the energy to stave off his emptiness. long cast out from the fae, he yearns to cross back over the hedge and burn their world down but in order to do so, he needs power. but children, even gifted children, aren't powerful enough. gifted young adults are and, even better, they don't believe in his existance so they are easy prey. he is closing in on his prize crop and will soon tear the world apart unless the college students he is after wise up and fight back.
modern fantasy - vampire & fae
fae blood is intoxicating but fae aren't dainty little things that can't protect themselves. sure, they might be curious and tango with a vampire but they can leave. only the vampire often becomes obsessive, addicted to the wild energy of the fae. if only there was a way to be a fae in thrall...oh wait, there are many. so the cycle of self destructive relations has no end.
modern fantasy - down the rabbit hole
think alice and the mad hatter, only more along the lines of alice the tv series spliced with malice in wonderland. gritty world that a girl finds herself stuck in were the majority are oppressed by the red queen and drugs provided to them in the form of human emotions siphoned off of captured humans or 'oysters'. mad hatter is a drug dealer, alice is a lost girl with powerful emotions that translate into powers in underland.
