I know how I should be
How I should feel
I should be cold
I should be heartless
I should be emotionless
It would save me from so much pain
It would stop my tears
If I only could tear out my heart
And light it aflame
Destroying all painful memories
But all I remember is the pain
I can't recall...
Any memories
My past is mostly a blank
But my body speaks the past itself
All memories engraved
All pain forever scarring my flesh
All misery forever embedded in my skin
The event may be forgotten
But the rememberance of the pain itself...
Will never be...
