I will tell you guys this here and now. I do not believe in God or anything like him. I have never been taught a religion; my mom wanted me to figure things out when I grew up...

I believe that we created 'God' as something to tell ourselves we are never alone. Spun out of our fear of being left alone with our own minds, we created the existence of 'God'.
'God' was meant to be something that gives our life purpose, saves us from the unknown, and keeps us sane. With our superior minds, we rose above animals and lived by technology... But we strived for something more than survival... Something more than what we have... We strived to learn, yet we feared what that knowledge would show us so we created a figure that we could use to explain everything and anything... That figure spared us from the fear of knowing the truth AND the fear of not knowing...
I say this and I mean it... I fear not knowing the truth and I fear knowing the truth. I feel my mind break down occasionally and reanalyze life. I'm not saying I know everything I am not even saying that I even really know human behavior, but I am saying this because I believe it...
Again I do not mean to offend but do you know the difference between mythology and religion???? Mythology is a dead religion... No one alive believes in the religion anymore so it becomes a mythology... Gods become fake as 'God' or even other things such as 'Allah' (sorry if it is misspelled) will eventually turn into...
We are alone...
There is no 'God'...
Please stop believing in false facts and move forward...
Please realize that even the most dedicated know deep in their heart that 'God' does not exist...
