The Nexus Insignia is the key to tapping into the Flow of Balance. It is the channel that links the Nexus, to the Flow. To bear this Insignia, means that the power of the Flow of Balance is able to be harnessed and wielded. Those without a Nexus Insignia can still tap into the Flow, but not to the extent as those with this Insignia. To better describe how it works; Imagine a lake with a maelstrom in the center, and you are standing in that very lake. Every move you make, it gets swallowed by the current. Now, imagine that same lake, and you in the center, without the Maelstrom. The movements made will reach out to every inch of the lake. Giving full range of reach and use.
