>>SUBJECT HISTORY: William was born on December fifteenth, twenty-five twenty-nine aboard the unnamed ONI Medical Facility that orbited Reach. His parents, Anthony and Kristine Coleman, were medical researcher's and surgeons for ONI during the Spartan-II phase, making them highly valuable assets to ONI and the USNC. After his birth he grew up on the medical station, going planet side only when his parents had the time of day to spend with him in-between their experiments and studies, which was fine because that's how he grew up, he never knew the parents were suppose to be there to raise you. In fact he thought being raised by the UNSC military department was how all kids grew up.

After reaching the age of five he was placed into military school and started his intense training regiment. PT in the morning, class, chow, class, PT, and then drill. It was standard for the up and coming military children. At the age of eighteen, he chose medical work as his advanced curriculum, to follow in his parent's foot steps and they couldn't have been prouder.

His entire game plan changed with the incident with the insurrectionist's happened. It was then that he decided to enlist in the UNSC ODST program. His parents were upset, but they couldn't say anything. He was brought up in this environment of violence. They pleaded with him to stay the course of medicine, and he met them halfway, stating that he would become a corpsman. After his training, he was pulled from his unit on reach by the commander of the ONI Medical department. His parents had pulled some strings this time and he was told he would be trained in the newest development of the Spartan program.

He was excited and scared at the same time. He knew the risks from the Spartan-II program, having seen it with his own eyes. This time however, he had nothing to worry about. The procedures and surgeries had come a long way since then. So he agreed and started his training once again. His surgeries were done by his own parents and he was given the title S-423 upon completion. It was shortly after that the attack on reach came and he was sent planet side for the conflict. It was towards the end of the engagement when they were pulling out that the Medical Station was destroyed, his parents along with it. He escaped the planet shortly after and watched as the planet was glassed.
