I was only a youngling when it happened, and thoughsand sof my kin were driven to the sea. My mother and I ran amoung them, we were desprit to find a way away from our charging doom. In the craze both my mother and I were seperated, and as the herd ran in one direction, I was forced down another, driven by my own fear and desire to escape. It drove me to leap off a high cliff and plunge into the sea below. I was swallowed in the deep dark blue of ocean, and as things went black, glittering fins passed by my vision...
The next thing I remember was Umiki's voice declairing me alive and that I would never be the same.
