The Orrin Survival Guide
There are a few simple tricks for dealing with a zombie, or at least a semi-zombie. Things one best avoid, and ways of keeping the guy out of trouble, as best one can. Some of these ways shall be listed here, for your safety and wellbeing.
Staying Safe

Being near of a zombie is obviously never the safest place to be, and especially not if something goes wrong. There are certain ways of protecting both you, the zombie and all those who happen to be around you, as well as ways to tell when the situation might turn from bad to worse. Learn to read these signs, and you could save lives

Paying Attention:
Keeping an eye on your zombie's behavior at all times could prove vital. Should he ever begin to act strange, is it time for you to slowly back away. Or run, if you'd prefer. Failing to notice these changes of personality could cause serious damage, to both you and the green fellow.

Vacant Stare:
Your zombie usually has a lot going on in his head, and for him to stare off into the distance without paying much attention to those around him may not be anything new. However, if you fail to catch his attention, try as you may, chances are that his mind has turned about as blank as the stare. This, of course, would not be a good thing. One might be able to have the zombie snap out of this state, if lucky, but a cautious proceed is vital, as you might just attract his attention the wrong way.

The Growl:
Zombies are easily annoyed, and will growl at people rather often. But should they keep this up when there is no apparent reason for them to remain upset, it might just be the starting of a rampage. If this is the case, then giving the guy some time to cool off could prove effective. So try to remain silent, and slowly move away.

Shaking:
Have you ever been so upset, you just began shaking like a leaf? Well, that could happen to your zombie as well. Whether it is by anger, shock, fear or grief, is it important that you try to calm them down. But do this carefully, as the consequences could be deadly, should you fail.

Biting:
During a rampage, or any given time for that matter, the most dangerous thing about zombies are those jaws. If their nasty teeth sink through your skin, have you no more than twenty minutes to inject the antidote, or there is no guarantee that it will work. Keeping a supply of it nearby at all times is the best protection you ever could have, as even the friendliest zombie could end up biting someone by accident.

Keeping Your Distance:
When a zombie lashes out at you, try to keep as far away as you possibly can. Those arms are strong, and they can move surprisingly fast when motivated. Should you be grabbed, then he is not very likely to let go. Any attempts to plead to the part of his brain which knows that you are a friend will be futile, as this part has already shut down.

Calming The Zombie:
As mentioned before, trying to calm the zombie is not the easiest of tasks. But it could just keep you safe of a rampage, or help your friend snap out it, should a rampage still happen. Calm music has been proven to be highly effective, as have general peace and quiet. A nice and warm fire could also be found to be mesmerizing the zombie, with a very soothing effect. If during a rampage, or when one is averted, the green guy starts to cry, then a calm voice and a gentle hug could make all the difference. If, however, your friend states that he does not want you to go near him, then following that advice is highly recommended.
