Reminder
I got a reminder
From the sister I love
Exchanging words and thoughts
Sealed with a hug
She reminded me, in her usual way
That the friendship we have will stay this way
We're going through hell
She's been through worse too
We were growing apart
That was all too true...
But a rempremand turned into tears
Turned into a hug and got rid of fears
So here I am writing a poem form the kid
I've somehow kept inside me after all I did...
Theres still some innocence
Which amazes me now...
It's my sister who managed
To bring me back somehow
I got a reminder
From the sister I love
Exchanging words and thoughts
Sealed with a hug
IT brought be back to the reality
That I wasn't alone
Guess what? I have a sister
And where she is, I'm home
Yes, it's childish and sounds worse than the poem I wrote when I was in third grade...but oh well. I was all soppy and kiddish after school today.
