All right...this is a bit of a rant.
I browse different forums on Gaia all the time because I like to read what other people think. What I'm really getting tired of, however, are the people who go into a topic such as...Who's Your Favorite Harry Potter Character or Charmed Season Finale, maybe, and the only thing they post is either how stupid they think the topic is or how stupid they think the people who like the topic are. Why the HELL did you click on the topic in the first place? Don't you people have anything better to do with your time than criticize others for their interests? Ok, so you don't like Harry Potter or Charmed or Lord of the Rings or whatever. Well maybe I don't like your favorite television shows or books or video games. That doesn't mean that I'm going to come into a thread and post how stupid I think you and your interests are. Some people on this site are just terribly rude and I don't understand why those people feel they have to treat others that way. I am completely for posting why you may not like a topic, but there are polite ways to do it. Oh, wait, here's a novel idea. DON'T POST IN THOSE THREADS AT ALL! That would solve a lot of problems.
I'm terribly sorry if I've offended anyone. I'm officially done ranting and you may PM me if you have a problem with it. I can guarantee I will either politely respond or ignore you, depending. Thank you for your time.
