Thursday was so busy, the projected sales were WAY lower than they should have been
and what bothered me the most was Jenn deflecting that by saying "I dIDNt kNow iT WAs goINg TO bE bUSY" Yeah - ******** - right
Last year we did 4k and her projection was less than half of that, what formula did she pull out of her skinny a** to come up with such a ******** number? The one used to actually show projection was off the mark by 200, whereas her number was off by almost 3k!
I'm not dumb! I worked in kitchens all my life. This s**t was done on purpose to push me out and it almost worked. I almost walked out. No one told her about that day either, she just rightly assumed I was frustrated. Now that I think about it if something like this happens again and Jenn tells me "Oh I heard blah blah blah about it." I will point blank ask her what she heard and from whom because I do not remember talking about it. And not to sound paranoid but unless my confidant is running to her with everything I am saying (Which is beyond doubtful because I could have been doing the same and there is mutual trust there) she HAS to have the means to listen in on conversations on the line.
Also, Garrett told her and Jamie that his availability for Thursday was until 1 and they still scheduled him until 4pm and, AND, I wasn't going to have ANYONE until 4:30. 3 hours, by myself during a lunch rush. I did a $500 hour alone, and they still have the BALLS and Gall to act like that is nothing. Bullshit! They schedule themselves a cook for every station and then sit on their asses EVERYDAY in the office that you would think they are all caught up on invoices well into 2022!
I plan on staging at another kitchen soon, going back to being a cook instead of an "Unofficial" Kitchen Manager, ooff! I fell for that one hard, no more being taken advantage of.
No more letting them get the better of me and take advantage of my hard work and ******** Jamie, that no talented a** clown. He absolutely lied on his resume! He is underqualified and I am so ******** certain he is stealing too and Jenn is just letting it happen. He's so untrustworthy with money, and he even admitted to 'almost walking out with $40 in his pocket." First, why the ******** is it in your pocket? There is no actual legit reason to put $40 in your pocket from the register for change. You take the 40 and keep it in your hand and exchange it for the same amount in change needed from the safe. NOT PUT IT IN YOUR POCKET. And when I told Jenn she brushed it off. "Oh, a simple mistake" and then treats me like I am the one stealing. What a hypocritical b***h. I hope her vacation is going terribly right now, I hope the weather is awful and she has a headache that wont go away until the day before she returns to work. That's what she has earned at this point. Also, Sorry, not sorry but, she tried way too hard to be my friend the first time we met that the whole encounter was saccharine. "OH! I am so happy to have another hard working woman in the kitchen" she says. Meanwhile she has made the other girls in the kitchen feel left out and then tries to be 'one of the boys'. As the kids say, she is such a pick me girl.
