Hey, it's me.

It's done; my family knows. All in all, it went pretty well! Some people took a bit longer to digest it than others, but positive reactions all around.
I... don't really know how else to feel than happy and supported. There's something else there, something a bit more complex, but still positive. Maybe relief? I guess I was expecting more resistance than I got, I don't know. But, it's behind me now. And honestly, I already feel a lot better about it. My brother even immediately used my name.

I have no idea how I'm going to tell them about my relationship though. I think that one might be best if they don't know. Not every day your just-out trans sister/daughter confesses to you that she's in a 4-person polycule. Or that she's leaving a stable area with a few extended family members scattered around to live with them in a state in a different time zone. There's probably a bit of guilt there. Maybe my mom would understand, but the rest of my family would almost certainly have a hard time swallowing it.

I'm not mad about it. I know they'd just have a hard time with it. I'm pretty happy just knowing that I have my partners by my side. Sucks that polyamorous marriages aren't legal yet. One of my partners has an amazing idea for our own little private ceremony anyway. It gave me a few tears, and I really love the idea. I'm looking forward to seeing her again. Not super long now, just a few more months.

Well, I guess that's it for today. Just needed to vent some pressure and help bring some thoughts together. I'll check with you guys later if I feel like it, but for now I'm good.
