You puncture the skin
You bring out hte best in me
You are always there when I need you
You bring darkness
To this neverending light
My only fear
Is someone finding out about my secret life
If one person even suspects anything
I will lose you forever
Idon't know what I would do with out you
I would be nothing
I look down at my wrist
Slowly running my finger over the ridges
Enjoying the pain
Releasing my anger and sorrow
You calm me down
I close my eyes
Smiling softly
Thinking deeply
Of my ex, alcohol, and how bad I need a smoke
My closest living friend laying beside me
Not knowing the danger I put myself in
I reach for you again
Placing your gleaming edge to my wrist
To add another ridge to my collection
As I apply pressure
And drag you to the other side of my wrist
Tiny droplets of blood appear
I look at them with a smirk
Raising my wrist to my face
I lap at the droplets
Drinking in this red liquid
I remember earlier today
A friend almost found out my secret
