What Changed?
I see your twinkling eyes,
Looking towards me,
I see your smiling face,
Smiling at me,
I see your outstretched arms,
Wanting to hug me,
Than in a blink of an eye you change.
Your twinkling eyes,
Begin to darken,
Your smiling face,
Begin to scowl,
Your outstretched arms,
Begin to close and cross.
In that quick blink,
My life begins to change,
What was once happy and fun,
Now sad and lonely.
