The NAQD: National Association of Quirky Dentists
I had a dentist appiontment at 8 this morning. It was just your normal check up. Ya know, when they pick at your teeth until your gums bleed, and then you get blasted with that nasty cleaner stuff that just seems to get everywhere but in your mouth. And that pansy of a cloth they wrap around your neck doesn't really do much. Sure, it helps...but for that damn blaster thing they need to wrap a plastic bag around you. Anyways, once the actual dentist came in I got told quite the interesting story. Now, it seems like all dentist are on the quirky side and my dentist is no exception. Don't get me wrong...he's a cool guy but still a little quirky. Anyways, he comes in, he's checkin out my teeth, and he's telling me how much he likes my name, Abbie. He told me that he has a neice that is like 19, has my name, always used to be a tomboy, and never really wore a bra...yeah he said that....anyways, it turns out she's lesbian. Mean while...I'm sitting there with my mouth open wide, trying hard not to accumulate any spit. So he goes on to tell me that his neice had this "girlfriend" who convinced her to put all her money into the "girlfriends" account and move in with her. Well the "girlfriend" dumped his neice and she was left broke. He actually used hand qoutes everytime he said girlfriend. After that my dad and I went and ate some breakfast. Then, we went to my mom's office for a little bit. After that dad went to some hardware stores. I'm not sure exactly what he was looking for. Probably because I stayed in the car and read my book. But then of course we just had to stop at Wal-Mart because you can't go to Hays without stopping at Wal-Mart. I went for a walk a little bit ago because my horoscope said it might do me some good. Which, I think maybe it did, because I'm feeling much better. Ahh...what a little bit of fresh will do for the body. arrow
