Takayama Kenshiro...and other assorted stories by yours truely...
This is going to be mostly about my Rp character, Takayama, bu tit wiil have other things in it, depending on what I feel like writing.
Chapter Two: A New Beggining
Chapter two: A new beginning.
Takayama had been living his new family for a month now, and had grown to love them. His new mother treated him just like her own son and loved him back. She would often sing to him while he was playing with his new brother, Kage. Takayama and Kage became immediate friends and spent from morning to night playing to the point where Alis, Takayama’s new mother, would fuss at them. Kage took on the role of watching out his new brother and tried his best to be a good brother.

Takayama awoke early on morning, only to find that his brother wasn’t in the top bunk. He walked around the dojo, which was where they lived, and couldn’t find anyone.
“Hello?” he asked an empty hallway. He started to become frightened he was going to be alone again, so he ran down the hallway and burst through the door outside. He stammered outside just in time to discover Kotaku and Kage walking home with wooden practice swords slung over their shoulders. Kotaku looked up from his conversation with Kage to see the out of breath Takayama standing in the doorway with tears coming down his face. Kotaku went over to him and put his hand on Takayama’s shoulder, “Takayama…what’s wrong?” Takayama rubbed the tears from his eyes, “I…I thought I was alone again…” Kotaku laughed and gave Takayama a hug, “Come on now, we are family now and we won’t abandon you.” Takayama looked up at his father with blurry eyes. “Oh…ok…so where were you and oniisan?” Kage came up to their side now and showed Takayama his boken, “Father was teaching me how to fight!” Kage smiled happily to himself. “Fighting?” Takayama looked from Kage to Kotaku. “I’m teaching him the in the Jigoku Bishou-ryu sword style.” Kotaku explained. “Hell Smiles…?” Takayama translated it. “Hai, that is what its called, it is a style of great power, that demands a high output of ki…” Kotaku said. “But it’s not a problem for dad!” Kage said proudly from behind his father. Takayama looked up at Kotaku with newfound respect.
Kotaku patted Takayama on the head and walked past them and into the house. “Come on boys, I can smell your mother’s breakfast and she’ll yell at all of us if we’re late.”

After breakfast, which consisted of eggs and bacon, Kage and Takayama went outside to play. “Lets climb to the top of the mountain and roll down!” Kage said pointing to a hill.
“Ok!” Takayama ran after his brother. They played on the hill all day till they were exhausted and slouched down on the grass to rest. “Hey bro, I’m glad you came here to live with us.” Kage told him. Takayama rolled over onto his stomach and looked at Kage, “I’m happy about it too!” As Kage and Takayama continued to play in the grass, a wolf watched them with hungry eyes. The wolf moved closer and closer to the unaware boys.
“Hey oniisan…can we play hide and seek?” Takayama ask. “Sure! But I’m the seeker!” Kage said. “Ok count to 30 and don’t peek!” Takayama said running off to find a hiding place. From his hiding place he could still hear Kage counting,”24, 25, 26, twenty sev-…. AHH HELP!!!” Takayama looked up from the grass to see a wolf ten times as big as him, thrashing Kage around in its huge jaws as if he were a rag doll. “STOP!!!” Takayama yelled running at it with all his might, not sure what he could actually do. The wolf dropped the unconscious boy to the ground, knowing it would comeback for him after it had dealt with Takayama, and charged Takayama with its razor sharp fangs bearing on him. Takayama raised his arms to defend himself, when he felt a something in him change. His blood felt as if it were on fire, he felt a wave of newfound energy rush through his veins. Just as the wolf was about to close its blood stained teeth in to Takayama, he jammed his fist down the wolf’s throat and ripped its heart from its body.

Takayama stood over the wolf covered in its blood, then looked over at the still unconscious Kage in the grass and ran to him. “Kage! Oniisan! Get up!” he tried shaking him awake, but he remained unresponsive. Takayama still had the energy from the fight, so he grabbed Kage and draped him over his shoulder as he ran back to the dojo. He collapsed at the front door of the dojo from exhaustion. Their mother came walking out and dropped the pot she was carrying, “What’s happened to you!” She ran to the blood covered children of hers and wrapped them up in her apron. “Kotaku come quickly!”

After everything had settled down, and Kage was asleep again, Kotaku took Takayama outside to look at the stars. “Takayama…aren’t you tired?” Kotaku asked casually. “No…no sir I feel fine…as a matter of fact I feel like I have too much energy!” Takayama said. Kotaku gave Takayama a surprised look, “So you are the generation to receive the gift!” Takayama looked up at him with a puzzled expression, “Gift?” He looked down at the boy, astonished that he didn’t even know his own family’s history. “I’ll tell you when you’re older…for now, I’ve decided to teach you Jigoku Bishou-ryu, to help you control your extra energy.” Takayama looked dumbfounded by Kotaku’s announcement. “You wanna teach me?” Kotaku nodded and smiled at him. “We’ll begin tomorrow.”
