Blood trails down my arm,
I've done it again,
Caused myself much harm.
I carved the name of my one true love,
into my flesh,
My heart, fluttering like a white dove.
I lay on the floor,
My vision weakening,
Then someone walks through the door.
He looks at my blood stained body,
Horror fills his eyes,
It seems as though he cries.
He falls beside me,
My breathing shallowing,
But he still can't see.
Oh how I Iove him,
My vision failing,
The light seems to dim.
" I loved you, you know," he whisperes in my ear,
The tears flow from my eyes,
Then I'm overwhelmed with fear.
Now I see,
As I die in his arms,
He really did love me....
