So, after months of seeing this Gaia thing pop up around the internet, I thought it was high time I immerse myself in yet another internet community. However, I am pleased to find this journal on this aforementioned community, as I have a lot to tell people who do not actually care. So, as an introductory chapter to this journal, I feel it's a necessary custom to introduce myself.
My name is none of your concern, but on this vast network of the internet, I have a few commonly used aliases. I preferr to be adressed as Kippy, a nickname I've had for years now. But, I also am known as Kublepy and Clydae. I have a DeviantArt account under the name Kublepy. Feel free to browse my artwork there. It has been a while sinse I have posted, but there are a few decent things in there.
I live in Arizona, the hottest place on the face of the planet, in my opinion. We often go more than one hundred days without rain. When water does miraculously fall from the sky, we treat it as a holiday.
I am a junior in High School, currently. I have more homework than hours in the day. Therefore, I am currently putting off a book report, extensive essay, formal lab write up, spanish analysis, and calculus homework to imtroduce myself to this community. But you won't find me complaining. Or maybe you will.
I play the violin in a very selective orchestra at my highschool. Two years ago, we got second place at the nationalcompetition in Chicago. This year, we are off to Boston at another shot in nationals. However, our school does not value our accomplishments. Our school choir is also nationally acclaimed. The choir directer is an overpowering woman who gets what she wants. Therefore, choir has a beautiful acoustically-stable room, whilst we are stationed in a room that was formerly a storage closetfor the band's uniforms. Yes, we are very bitter about it. And, if I keep up this journal, you will be reading plenty about it.
I also play the piano for myself. I fancy myself a pretty good pianist, at that.
I suppose I should bring to your attention the blatant grammar nazi I am. You probably already noticed. At school, I am very well known, but far from 'popular' inthat everyone acknowledges me as that smart girl. I suppose I do not mind, though sometimes I wish I were not so smart. However, I have my other smart friends to take company in.
Oh, and when I say smart, I suppose I should give an example of just how much of a nerd this entails. Our school team took second place at the state Science Olympiad. Yes, SCIENCE Olympiad. I myself tood third in Practical Data Gathering, as well as a few other events. Oh, and this year I am the treasurer of the Science Olympiad team. And the vice-president of the Science club. Other than that, myself and two others were chosen to represent my school at the state Chemistry competition at Norther Arizona University. We won, hands down.
Alright, to recap, I'm an ultra-science nerdy orch dork. No need to wonder how popular I am anymore.
I guess I am done for now, as I should get going on this Spanish homework. Feel free to call mean idiot. I don't mind insults. It just gives me a chance to hit you with some mordant reply. Oh, and did I mention I was bitter?
