She sits in class, staring blankly into space,
She closes her eyes, and pictures his face.
The corners of her mouth, curl into a smile,
Missing the whole class, was all worth while.
She imagines the moon portrayed in his eyes,
And how he seems to light up the skies.
And when she’s had a bad day,
He knows exactly what to say.
Each time more precious, she’d never want to miss,
The feel of his touch, and the taste of his kiss.
He’s beautiful, inside and out,
He shows her what life’s all about.
The bell rings, things aren’t what they seem,
She looks around, but it was all just a dream.
