Powers: High speed movement and reflexes, can bend the light to his will, can bend the shadows to his will, some shape-shifting, and minor physchic abilities.

Extras:As the embodiement of balance, Shade is Immune to all diseases and plagues.

Background: Thrown to earth as a child, to be the embodiement of balance on eart. Shade was found by an elemental master who could sense the powers contained within the child. In turn, the man knew of only one thing to do... In order to make sure the child had a good life, he took him in and taught him along with his other four disciples. With an aptitude for summoning the light, the boys body barely changed in ten years while his powers grew to their full extent. Afraid of his powers, and his inability to control them he spent two years in a symbolic meditative state. Finally coming out of his state, he still couldn't contain the powers. In seeking his master's help on the situation, Shade was given a plated headband. His master told him that this headband would limit the light energy he could use, and eat away at the rest. However in order to use the headband to its fullest potential, he must learn an art that was highly dangerous, the art of shadow casting. The two parts of the Yin and Yang circle would reside inside him. Mastering the shadows would be a difficult task to complete, thirty years difficult. After completing his goal, he knew that his teacher could teach him no longer, and after accepting the headband from his teacher, he left, set on his own journey. During that time, he began to feel more animalistic. His senses heightened, his senses stronger, and lust more powerful. Setting out to control his new animalistic behavior, and in turn he developed the ability to morph into three different animals. A snow white falcon, a jet black panther, and a yin/yang wolf all three times the normal size. It had been one of those nights in fact, that his student Emerie had finally found him. Emerie, a vampiress raised in the slave trade and most times afraid of her own shadow had escaped one night to be taken in by a village of wind ninja. Trained in the arts she had been sent to him to control some powers that lay dormant in her body. Teaching her what he could in order to protect her from nature and herself, he also taught her how to release the feline powers dormant in her, and how to transform at will. One night after a rigorous day of training, they were ambushed and Shade was separated from his student. Though he emerged unscathed after the ten hour fight with the hunters, he feared for his student. Spending the next three centuries searching for her, he finally gave up and went into hiding for being tired of one bounty hunter after another after his head, and only rising the price to stay alive. Our story begins here where he has come out of hiding and back in the real world.



Named Objects and Info:

Katana of Light: Given to him by his mother before thrown to earth. It is one of two possessions he owns from that world.

Katana of Darkness: Given as a gift from the shadows after completing a contract in blood.

Plated Headband: A magical object that limits the user's energy when worn.
Given by his master.
Real Name: Holy Death

Cross Necklace: Place where his alter-ego Sasuke resides in an alternate dimension.

Shadow Suit: Shade's fighting clothes that act as a window. Makes long range weapons useless, as when any projectile hits the suit simply passes through from one side of Shade's body to other without touching his body. Ineffective in close combat.
Physical Special Attacks

Yin Sword: A katana of light twice the normal size with twice the power. Formed by merging two normal katanas of light.

Yang Sword: A katana of darkness twice the the normal size and with twice the power. Formed by merging two normal katanas of darkness.

Yin/Yang Sword: A full samurai katana made by combining the Yin and Yang swords. The sword contains the two swords combined power.

Yin/Yang Bo: Basically the Sword except in the form of a bo staff. Staff has the ability to change length and/or size. Comprised of half holy energy half dark energy.

Yin/Yang Dagger and Whip: A duel wielding combination, and though they have half the size, they have twice the power as the sword or Bo

Spiritual Special Attacks/ Techniques
Dark Attacks

Shadow Body Basic Shadow maneuver, user can turn body into that of a shadow neglecting any upcoming attack. Great for defense, and movement

Darkness Flame: Basic shadow attack, where a shadow takes on the image off a black flame, but instead of burning them like a normal fire would, it feels more like a dry ice burn. A reverse effect.

Darkness Earth: Basic shadow attack where the shadows take control of the earth, changing its state by the user's will.

Shadow Jumping: Basic ability to maneuver through the shadows, jumping through them as if they were portals.

Shadow Ball: User creates an orb of dark energy to project at their opponent. Shade uses his their abilities to change the balls direction if they wish to do so.

Shade Barriage User can summon a mass amount of Shadow Balls at a given point


Light Attacks

Holy Punch: While using the holy gloves, the user may throw a punch towards their opponent and can change it's direction at will.

Light Ball: User forms orb comprised of Holy energy or a pure white light to project at their opponent. User can change direction of the orb at will.

Light Barriage User can send mass amounts of Light Balls at a single time.


Animal Attacks
Falcon Attacks-
Blinding Light: While in falcon form, Shade spreads his wings and from behind them a blinding white light emerges, instantly blinding anyone for three turns.
Light Ray: Opening his beak, while in this form, Shade can emit a light ray powerful enough to destroy New York with half it's power. Blast extends 100 yards in width. Two time max use
Panther Attacks-
Dark Claw: If attacked with this technique, user's opponent instantly sees their worst fear take place. Two time max use
Dark Ray: Opening his jaw, while in this form, Shade can emit a dark ray powerful enough to destroy china with a third of it's power. Blast extends 50 yards in width. Two time max use

Full Heal Completly heals user. TAKES THREE TURNS TO TAKE EFFECT

Combination/Soul Attacks


Holy Shadow Ball: Combines the power of the two orbs. Measures twice in size, and three times the power. Two time use max.

Soul Exorcism: Shade allows his alter ego(Sasuke) to take a full form outside of Shade's body and fight with him. Sasuske has all of Shade's shadow powers.
