Vita had just walked out of the otherworld and now he was looking for sweet revenge on those who had enslaved him. He didn't care that the original ones were dead, the descendents weren't, but they would be soon.
When Vita walked out of the hut that belonged to the warlock he took a deep breath and watched for the first time in a long time, the clouds roll along in the sky. In the otherworld there was nothing, no food, no water, no light, no ground, just a breathable place of nothing.
Because there was no light in the otherworld his eyes stung from the sudden light of the mortal world, and his legs were week beneath him from not having to support weight in such a long time.
Bit with each and every breath he took strength returned to him. Within moments he could look without squinting and stand without falling.
This is what he told me at least, it could have been longer, though I highly doubt that.

Well after he left the warlock's hut he headed out to village, that wasn't hard the warlock lived right on the edge of one, and that's were he found me. From the moment I laid eyes on Vita I knew he was destined for power.
But from the look he gave me when we first met, I thought for sure I was destined to die (I might still be), by his hand.
And from there I watched him storm right into the bar and inn, like a raging black storm of anger, and within moments Vita had thrown out three men as if they were paper dolls and the trio tumbled in the dirt, "Give me some real answers or the next punch will do more then send you flying. You dare think that I, Vita de Morte, will take I don't know for an answer? You dare think that I'm just a week little being who held no threat to this pathetic waste you mortals call a world. You dare think you won't serve me? You're wrong.
"You will serve me, and you will become my army, you will help me with my revenge or you will die."
That's when I learned that the children's tale of a demon so powerful that he almost destroyed the world, and that he would come and get me if I didn't go to bed on time. Wasn't really a children’s tale.
