Well It's the moment we've all been waiting for. After months of practicing, auditions for all-state choir are tomorrow. I'm so nervous, because I know I'm not going to make it. There's still that small shimmer of hope, but it's such a prestigious choir that I honestly don't stand a chance. I know I'm a good singer, but I'm just not that amazing.
It's such an odd feeling when you know you're not good enough to accomplish something. Outside of athletics, I'm used to being the best. I just can't stand it when I'm not. I don't even think I need to be the best for myself. It started that way, but after a while, people just started viewing me as an overachiever. Now I feel that if I'm not perfect, I'm nobody
