I went to homecoming just this Saturday. It was probably the best night in my entire life. I mingled. I danced. I drank water. It rocked. Of course, I was as nervous as a squirrel in an old guy's underpants, especially when I was driving Nichole there. She'll tell you that, too. lol 3nodding

That morning, I went to a suit place and got all of the necessary dress crap (not literal, sickos), the dozen roses and the stupid jewelry (which was just a watch and the class ring I haven't worn in the last two years). At home, I tried playing Soul Calibur 3 to ease the stress on my brain, but after being smashed into the ground by a gigantic sword about sixty or seventy times, it slowly became tedious.

I went to pick her up at 7:25pm, but realized that the invitations were back home, so I ended up getting there at 7:30. When I actually drove into the parking lot, I called her. Here was the conversation that ensued:

Nichole: "Hello?"
Kitty: "Hello there."
Nichole: "Hi Kitty!"
Kitty: "Uh... Okay. Well, I'm here to pick you up, but...eh...I don't know exactly where here is. So, can you tell me--"
Nichole: (laughing unbearably on the phone)
Kitty: "...Yeah. Just take your time. Laugh all you want."
Nichole: (...still laughing)
Kitty: "...Done yet?"

We got to meet her parents, who I thought were super awesome. Eh... Their stepfather threatened to kill us if we got either one of his stepdaughters in an accident, which scared me. I still have panic seizures. *nervous laughter, twitching* sweatdrop

Oh, yeah. I forgot to mention this in the beginning. A friend of mine was also there with me, giving a ride to Nichole's sister in his pimped-out truck. We started talking about what would happen at the actual dance and how we wouldn't dance at all. In fact, for about half the time we were there, we kept sneaking away from the crowd while no one was looking and playing with poker chips littered on the tables. Stealth skills come into play here, men. lol mrgreen

But it really was fun. I even got to dirty dance a bit. lol. Afterwards, I helped pull down the decorations and we went home.
At the end of the night, (or morning because it was after 12am) I walked her to the door and we kissed each other goodnight. So romantic. xd

And that's it. I went home and slept. Simple ending, isn't it? lol blaugh
