I really enjoy writing. It can't be healthy, must be some disease.
"Oh doctor! Doctor! What is the cause of this excessive poetry writing?!"
"I'm sorry Emily.....you have..... "
"What? What do I have?"
"I'm sorry, you have..... Poetry Syndrome!!"
"NOOOOOOOO!!!!!! .............Whatever"
Heh, Yeah, it would go something like that. Here we go!!
This one's title is "Why Start Over?"
Why Start Over?
Not long ago, he knew who he was.
He knew where he stood, and he knew where he was going.
But as it turns out,
he never knew.
It was only a lie.
A masquerade,
a play for the innocent minds.
Oh poor souls
who wander, never to be found.
"Start over" you say?
It only gets harder my friend.
Why not live in innocence while you can?
Why give up now?
Make use of this childhood you have,
for it will never come again.
So you say "start over" ?
Can it be that bad that it drives you,
forces you to forget all you've accomplished.
All of your loved ones?
Your hopes?!
Your dreams?!
Inevitability, my friend, will catch up.
And it will prove to you,
no matter what,
you can never escape.
