It hissed at me from the corner of the room. The creature was once a woman. She still wore the white silk gown of a high ranking priestess. Upon entering the temple, I discovered the furniture thorn to pieces and thrown everywhere. The bodies of the other priestesses were also thrown everywhere. Blood stained the wooden tables and chairs. A once highly religious concencrated space was now a disturbing site to behold.

With ease she leapt over a large piece of the offering table. Her dark hair flying out behind her. The skin covering her was now tight over her bones and festering with things that afflict the dead. The abominable smell that permeated from her flesh assaulted me before the creature was even near. Blood was smeared up to her elbows. I could see bits of flesh embedded under her fingernails.

I could feel a tightness settling into my head and shoulders.
