Mmmm.... I'm very sad. ;___; I'm in her school, too. Does she want me to leave her alone, too?
~ Forest of Angels Chapter 6: Ileno Returns Section 13
Tsano looked over at her and sighed, hesitating. “I’m…sorry that I had to drag you into this.” Tsano apologized. “What?” “I…these people kidnapped you. I’m sorry.” He finished lamely. Tao Chi smiled somewhat, still avoiding his eyes, and said nothing again. After a few minutes passed in silence, as he was alone with Tao Chi, Tsano spotted a sort of small archway in the corner of the stump, a sort of large mouse hole that a small child could crawl through. He looked over at it, seeing a flickering light emitting from it. How could he have not noticed that? There was a voice coming from the hole, the voice of a small girl singing a soft lullaby. The tune echoed in Tsano’s memory, as memories often did as he was in this cursed forest. Tao Chi looked over at the hole when she heard song drifting through it. “Hmm?” Tsano bent down to his knees, peering through the opening in the wood. A girl with long, pale gold hair had her back turned to him. It obviously opened up more inside, since she was sitting up. Large white wings extended from her shoulder blades. Tsano gasped and fell back, shuffling away from the hole in the wall as fast as he could, until he hit a bed opposite. No…It…Couldn’t be…She…She died…in the fire…He…was the only…Angel…left… If an Angel’s skin weren’t already white, the colors would have been completely drained from Tsano’s face. Tao Chi looked alarmed. “What in the world is wrong with you?” She demanded. The small singing stopped as Tao Chi made her declaration. There was a shuffling sound as the light flickering from inside the hole was covered by something. A girl started crawling out from inside the small room, standing up once completely emerged, and peering around. This girl was very small; she looked only about six. She had a white face and long, pale golden hair. Her eyes were a dark blue. She wore a white blouse and skirt with golden designs. Wings fanned out behind her. She didn’t have a halo. Tao Chi gawked at the girl as she looked pleasantly around. She wheeled from the fast-breathing Tsano to the girl with a half smile on her face. “Wait…” Tao Chi muttered. “Wait…” All of the sudden the girl’s eyes widened. She smiled with delight and her face brightened as she looked at Tsano.
“Brother!”
