Time and time again we fall,
Into the depths of the darkness,
That dwells inside us,
A dark cloud over the light,
A black streak over innocence,
Hiding the truth of what we are,
The truth of who we are,
And hiding what we can be,
From ourselves.
If we hide can we ever,
Be seen again?
Can that person find us?
And if they do, what will they do?
Accept? Reject? Scorn?
Scold? Love? Hold?
Comfort? Push away? Or reject us entirely?
If they're not there to hold us tight,
What will happen?
Will we live but die, break and cry?
Who will we have then?
The silence, the hatred, the scorn, the rejection?

The Inner Workings Of My Mind
Okay, so it's not all just the inner workings of my mind, but I still think that's a good title! ^^; Out of boredom I just might post some of my poems, but they'll be off the top of my head, and not compleate sometimes so watch out! =^.^=
