Dark Park
I walk alone, cold in the park
Embracing all that is dark
I stop underneath an arch
And cry when I feel a longing in my heart
I hold myself tightly
You're not here beside me
I try to live on, but I suffer daily
I cry deeply, letting darkness consume me
As I'm on the brink of total despair
It's your voice that I hear
Letting me know that you are near
You whisper, "It is you that I hold dear."
I scream out your name
I try to run to you, but I'm filled with pain
I stop and fall limply to the floor
I die without knowing anymore
