You’re back! The empty hole in my chest is gone. As if there were never anything but my love. Every time I see you I rejoice. But I’m afraid…. I’m afraid you’ll leave me again. Now that my despair is gone I don’t think I can go though it again. The despair. The sadness. Fate is with us being together but I have learned that Fate is a fickle friend. I cling to the hope you will never leave. Each time I see you, kiss you, it’s harder to keep myself prepared for it. This is too confusing, too powerful. I can’t help loving you again. What am I supposed to do? Run into your arms? Or avoid you at all cost? Even though it would break my heart. If it would be best for you. Please tell me no, that you won’t leave me. That I’ll be in your arms forever. Please tell me I’m being the silly mortal I am. Please tell me “I love you.”
