I think it's very wrong that I had trouble capturing that stupid ball of worms. I only had to circle it... three times? Two times? But it still was a little pisser with its little -SHLOOP- attack where it sent out that long vine and broke my line I don't know how many times. All I wanted to do was go across the canal to get to the Muk! gonk Don't you care about the quality of Fall Town's water, Tangela?
This is Pokemon Ranger, by the by.
It really is an evil game. When your Styler (the thing you use to capture the Pokemon, it's much different from the other games) breaks, everything goes into slow motion and it makes this shattering sound. Then, it fades to the original scene, where you are standing with all of those little confused Pokemon surrounding you, wondering what the hell happened. "...Prince's Styler broke," it says, then all of the Pokemon (except for Plusle, who is my homeboy/girl) run away. They get these little exclamation points over their heads and run away.
It's really very depressing.
Brain Age is a welcome respite, though. Full of sudoku (jet speed every time, baby!), easy math problems and reading, it makes me feel incredibly smart. And, of course, it gives me a much-needed ego boost (which I need after playing that horrible Pokemon game, so much sadness! T.T )when it tells me when I beat one of my mother's records. Hee, in your face, Ma!
Christmas was satisfying. I am now fully equipped as an artist (instead of just with a pencil nub I found in my old dresser drawer and a multi-colored elephant eraser or summat) with a calligraphy pen, several nibs, ink, nib cleaner, good pencils and charcoal, two different erasers, several specific sketchbooks, a little wooden person, and a book about how to draw the clothed figure. Thank yooooouuu, Grandma and Uncle Billy. Is it odd that the first name that came into my mind for my little mannequin guy was Scoliosis?
I got The Ninth Gate. AHA Johnny Depp and the occult and naughty naughty bits you are my dream movie, Ninth Gate.
Ooh, I finally have a scarf of my own, now. It's long and sable and oh so soft and I love to wear it around the house.
My uncle's ex-girlfriend was in the paper today. O_O She was a model for the People section... I don't know why he broke up with her. She was nice. And very stylish.

I am also hoping to get Phoenix Wright (Just bought myself that game. A christmas present to myself! blaugh ) and Trauma Center for my DS, among other things. But, with that, along with my anime, manga, and debt-related expenses... I need a job! gonk Damn the fact that I'm only fifteen.
