OMG, so much has happened since I last logged on! My gma who was living with us died, I believe the 19th of December, so we ended up going to Galesburg, Illinois for her funeral with my gpa (he lives in Missouri). We took a plane from my house to Missouri, then drove 7 hours to Illinois. When we first got into our hotel room in Galesburg, about an hour later, my gpa starts throwing up and getting diaherra continuously, and gets so dehydrated that he starts hillusinating. So we called an ambulence, took him to the emergency room, still throwing up, and the doctors didn't even know what pain killers and stuff to give him, and even asked my mom what to do! So he stayed over night at the hospital. Next day, my dad got what my gpa had gotten. Stomach Flu, I think. So he starts throwing up and diaherra and stuff too. Luckily, we knew what to do this time, so he didn't have to go to the crappy hospital, too. Our hotel was nice, and we had gotten a suite, because we had to fit 5 peeps in one room, and another room for my gpa. It had a nice pool and hot tub, and every night my bro, sis and I would go there, to get out of the room. We couldn't do anything! There's nothing whatsoever to do there!! We had to eat out every day, since we didn't have food, and had to spend so much money on everything, that it's become somewhat of an issue. Anywho, we walked to a tiny mall that was next to our hotel, and was able to find my family's Christmas presents. But since I don't have a job, I didn't have much money, and quickly became broke. I was unable to even buy my cool bro a present!! I felt sooo bad! So the third day there, we had gma's funeral. It was beautiful! My mom, sis, bro, and I all spoke, and was able to be there to comfort gpa. I cried silently as I spoke. It was very hard, but I was very glad I did. The funeral was exactly what gma would have wanted it. It rained during which, but nobody seemed to mind, it was more of a nice thing then bad thing (I LOVE rain). Afterwards, we had dinner with the 7 or so relatives that were there, and my gpa had an awesome time! It was just what he needed. The night before we were to leave for Missouri again, I got the stomach flu. I threw up once every hour from 11pm to 7am. It was horrible! We drove back that next morning, it seemed like 12 hours! We were so ready to get back home. When we got back to my gpa's house, we all just crashed. I was able to read the Books of Jonah, and some of Job the last of the 5 or so days we stayed. Next morning, we left for our plane to go back to Idaho. We had to wait 2 hours for our first plane (we got there early), and my ears were killing me! Then, we had about an our before our second plane (from Minneapolis to Idaho), so we wandered around the huge airport, finding something to eat at the last minute, and being one of the last ones to board the plane (though we were in the last row together). Our plane was delayed 2 1/2 hours because of toilet problems!! How stupid is that?! Though everyone else was angry, I didn't mind at all for some reason. So I did some Sudoku, then read some more from Job. It was a relaxing flight. Our neighbors were supposed to pick us up from the airport to our house (they took us to the airport when we left), but they didn't get my dad's message that the plane was delayed. So they went home. So we had to get a cab. The problem was, the vans were way too small to fit the huge suitcases we had. So my dad called the taxi service to get a bigger one, and someone else took it when they got to the airport to pick us up. But the people who took it had 6 peeps, and the van was still too small to fit us anyways. Oh, did I mention it was raining the whole time? And so we had to use 2 vans to get us home! When we got home, we told our neighbors sorry, and crashed! The next morning (just this morning), we celebrated Christmas! To us, it didn't matter that there weren't many presents, we were just happy to be home and safe with each other. And we were able to get our dogs from the pound that was watching them today! They are so tired, poor things! That's pretty much it. God has really pulled us through a lot of stuff, but in the end, it helped us all grow spiritually, and I was able to get my mind off of the things that really don't matter. I don't care about Rick at all now! I'm so happy! Anywho, thank you God for getting us back safe and sound!
