Tamahome is the best anime character of all time. Let me list the reasons.

1: He looks the best, in other words, he's the hottest and most handsome
2: He's so loyal to Miaka
3: He would risk his life any day for his friends and Miaka
4: He doesn't give a care if it's against the rules, he'll make sure he ends up with Miaka in the end
5: He goes through all the trouble of finding Miaka, even though it means him harm
6: He cares for everyone, including Miaka's friend Yui, whom he tries to get back to Miaka even though he knows Yui's the enemy
7: He cares so much for his family that he'll work any back-breaking job just to get them some money to live on
