Gah! So my computer isn't going to get fixed anytime too soon... eek but I've found a way around it. Bah I say! I can't live without my computer xd So whether you like it or not stare You're stuck with me! 3nodding

I've got a lot of catching up to do... reading all the posts in the guild 3nodding Seems sooooo much has happened since I was last on and able to post!!! xd

Somewhere dark and dank... Lumina regains consciousness:

I opened my eyes and tried to focus... my head was pounding and the objects around me were blury... Where was I? My hands were cold and trembling. I wasn't cut or bruised... so I couldn't possibly have been in a battle... I could smell pizza and the sound of traffic could be heard, yet the room was dark and dank. I was... in a basement and something just ran over my hand. gonk The patter of little rat feet scurried about me and I pulled myself up and hugged my knees close to me. Thoughts raced around in my head... where am I??? Why am I here? Why can't I remember anything? but most of all.... WHAT THE H3LL happened to me??? I was scared because as I tried to remember how I got here... all that came to me was a void... a dark blank void that threatened to devour me.

Get a hold of yourself girl! I willed myself to stand up and the pounding in my head increased. Finally the object around me became clear and I realized that I was in a basement. There were boxes upon boxes with red Xs on them. I am usually curious by nature, but at the moment I was confused and terrified... and all I wanted to do was get out of here. I looked down and realized that I wasn't in my costume. My secretary business suit was slightly wrinkled, but intact. Thank God. But... why wasn't I in my superhero costume? DAMN! Why can't I remember?! There would be time to figure things out, but I have got to get out of here! I heard the honking of traffic and looked up. There was a window with bars on it and it appeared to be facing an alley. I used my telepathic powers to bend the bars. I had barely any strength, but I managed to get out.

Yes... I was in an alley and I knew where I was. I could see the pizzaria across the street. Was I just in the basement of the abandoned office building that was scheduled to be demolished on Feb. 27th? Thank goodness that isn't going to happen for at least 2 weeks! I could have been trapped in there. I straightened myself up and walked slowly towards the street and out of the alley. My head was still pounding and the light was causing me to squint... I waved over a taxi. "Flippyville spy agency... please" I told the driver. "Hey lady, are you ok? You look kinda sick." (thanks... just was every girl wants to hear stare ) "I'm fine thanks I--" Just as I was about to make an excuse I heard a loud boom and turned around quickly. Out of the back window of the taxi cab I could see the office building slowly crumble and cave in. I don't know why I didn't notice the construction men before... There was a large machine with a huge ball attached to it, and it was being swung at the building with great force. I paled and felt faint. "HEY Lady! Are you ok?" The taxi driver said as I gripped the seat to stop my hands from trembling. "What day is it?" I asked him with intense eyes. "It's Sunday February 27th Miss... are you late for an appointment or something?" He looked down at my buisness suit. "um no... uh...I um..." I didn't know what to say. I had just been in the basement of that building and if I had regained consciousness a minute later... I would be burried alive under that building! gonk

Someone wants me dead... but my memory stopped at Feb. 14... valentines day... After that everything was a blur. "Um, I've changed my mind... Could you drive me to 83rd and 52nd street? (it was close enough to headquarters and I think I had enough strenght to get myself to HQ from there) Quickly please." "Sure Lady, but you're sure you're ok?" "Yes, please drive"

I looked back and where the building once stood, a massive pile or ruble now lay. I needed to get to head quarters quickly. What on earth happened to me? I need answers... who could I possibly get them from? perhaps the Time Master knew something... but it was impossible to get in touch with him... he came and went as he pleased and his time altering powers are immense. He's just the person I need to see... and I know I will find some way to get in contact with him.

Finally at the Superhero Head Quarters... I headed straight to my room and collapsed in my bed. I was exhausted although I didn't know why. It was frustrating not knowing what had happened to me in the last 12 days... I would call a meeting with the rest of the crew and update them... Did they know I was missing? I saw a note lying on the floor... It said:

"I'm going on an urgent mission concerning something from my past. I don't know when I'll be back, so keep things in order and I'll contact you as soon as I can. Lieutenant Lumina."

Did I write this? Yes... It was my handwriting... but why did I write it? What exactly about my past? Could it be... As I pondered these questions, I slowly drifted off into a troubled sleep.
