.:[~Paradox Theory~]:.
Maybe if your life was a living paradox, you could be able to understand my words...If maybe you could see the other side of your sick, twisted world, you could understand my words...maybe if you cared you could understand my words....
Is it really February 18th, 2007?
Well honestly, it may not seem far, but in my book, it seems like it's been moving pretty fast already, I mean, I remember the 1st of the year @.@ and now it's February 18th...

So, special teams (sans a Male Drill Team, because we can't get things together) went to Birdville, TX, for the Birdville Regional Skills Meet, yesterday and I guess we didn't do too bad, but I'm certain it wasn't the best, which is a real bummer...but that means we'll try harder x1,000 for Mesquite State Skills Meet, if we win there, we go to nationals~ and I'm sure we can do it!

So yes, got there at 6:30-ish, and our bus driver had a collapse (heart attack or a stroke) so he wasn't able to get to the school (obviously) which made us wait another 2 hours for the next bus, so we did leave pretty late...which wasn't a good thing because the Pathfinders team had to perform at 11:30, and well right when we got to Birdville they basically had to run to the PT Team performance area...

So yeah, the bus driver was alright though, I was kinda worried, but then I was thinking "aren't they supposed to check for those potential problems before allowing him to drive a bus?" and yeah...but he's good. We were standing there and the wind was blowing, waiting for a bus, and silly Justin forgot his jacket (not like I wanted it, it wasn't that cold) but Colonel sent me inside to get a hoody...I was like @.@ "but why?"

So I got my hoody, which made me look unique because the other teams were all wearing the Maroon Special Teams shirts we're supposed to have, and well...I had a black hoodie, so in a group I'd stick out pretty bad (not like I already don't due to my height anyways) but yeah it was interesting. The bus ride there was kinda boring, everyone was trying to sleep or study, with a few funny mishaps, but overall everyone was nervous.

So we get there, the Pathfinders run off the bus, and we tour the area, checking out the other teams and seeing our competition. Most of 'em were pretty good, but I guess you don't pay $1,000+ to go to a competition if you suck (no real offense there) so we go around, and then we decide we're hungry...so we pile into WHATABURGER like...an hour and a half before the Male Color Guard performance...it was packed...I mean we were in line for 20 minutes alone, and then we order our food and it takes about 30 minutes for that to get to us...so we basically scarfed down our food in a minute (which is bad for you BTW) but it gave us nutrition and what not. Then we rushed to the bus and got changed on the bus (yes we stripped to our skivies and were totally hawt XDDD) so then we get in dress blues and we rush to get everything prepared, and we eventually do, but then we only have 5 minutes to get on the OTHER side of the WHOLE AREA @-@ That was just..not cool sweatdrop So we get there and run through our performance.

Again we didn't do the best I'm fairly sure, I mean the wind was blowing extremely hard, and well when we went up to Carry Colors the first time my flag nearly flew out of hand entirely it just..was scary and I'm sure we got docked points for that mishap...but we did pretty good, so we go back to the bus change into civi's (civilian clothes) and we go to watch the other teams...then we decide we're gonna be fat and go for SECOND LUNCH! yeah! so we go to Rosa's Cafe (because it was away from the competition, and something about breaking rules makes us compelled to do it) we have our food and laughs there...and I realize that stuff like that is really fun, a group of friends all laughing and just relaxing together, it was just a good feeling. So I get my large drink, and we start heading back...we eventually see Colonel waaaaay down the street, and we're in his line of sight....

Not cool. I mean we started running but my lid from my drink, so we're running and it's sloshing around half of the 44 oz. cup spilling all over the place and I was screaming "NO LID!!!!" at the top of my lungs too, my whole right arm and hand was sticky (hehehe) but it was really funny cause it got all over Brian's back, and then Marlon's whole face and body XDDD so Nelson had to add in that I was incoherently "skeeting" all over everyone @.@

So yeah...we get back there in time for the female drill to perform and they did pretty alright. So afterwards we finally are able to go home (due to lack of an awards ceremony which made me bummed out cause I really wanted to win an award XD) so we all pile on the bus, and I'm like sitting across the row from Joey, behind Nelson, kinda diagonal from Brian, and in front of Anguin and Stacey stare

Everyone was incoherently sick so we're like...nuuuu I shoulda got one of those masks but I didn't, so now I'm getting sick, which is pretty bad, I feel horrible right now (especially after last night, but I'll explain that here in a bit) So we're toodling along (blame my dad, he uses weird phrases for things and they stuck with me like toodling along = crusing minding my own business) and I'm daydreaming about Carla (because I was thinking about her ALL DAY heart ) and I lean back, and Stacey frickin' bit me...I mean like a hard bite on the V of my neck/shoulder area, and I was like "...Ca---wait! Not cool!" and I freaked out...but I seemed to be everyone's center of laughter on the ride home/the battalion comedian..it was great.

(wow this is turning out to be a long entry) ANYWAYS, so we're on the way home, and like...we stop at McDonald's for dinner I guess, but I tell Tim to give me his milkshake...then Patricia and Anguin are like "YOU CAN HAVE MY FRIES!!! TAKE THEM PLEASE!" and I'm like "...why?" but they didn't really say, so I got two free things of fries with my free milkshake (cause Tim bought it for meh)

Then we continue on home, and well yeah...so I'm here...

The whole time, the bus ride there, even throughout the competition, I was just thinking about Carla and how bad I'd wanted to be with her...How fun it would be if she could be with me for the whole thing (kick Stacey's a** that'd be funny~) and yeah...I mean it was just nice thoughts and sweet daydreams sweatdrop heart 3nodding

but I feel bad now, cause I was getting really sickish/nauseated last night, and I wanted to lay down, but I was pretty tired from the competition, but I REALLY REALLY wanted (well still do) to talk to Carla...so she called me, and I almost missed it, but I called her back. We talked, and I'm not sure what happened, but all I know is there's 12 missed calls on my list spanning about 50 minutes, and with each one my heart chipped a little, and I felt horrible~ I mean I feel really loved that she wanted to talk to me bad enough to call me 12 times, or until I picked up, but I felt bad because she did and I was asleep...I felt like crying when I saw that @.@

The good news is that I totally feel a bit better, but I really REALLY want to talk to Carla now...

So yeah, that's about it.

Oh! One more thing, not sure if you knew this but Justin likes to sing. Except usually the stars and planets have to be aligned before he even works up the nerve to sing for or in front of anyone...but I do sing to myself in time, and lately my song of choice for the past two weeks has been the Garden of Everything (blame Carla) but it's a great song...

Steve Conte:
Here you are
Daylight Star
Made out of miracles

Perfection of your own
You alone
Oh so incredible

Each atom sings to me
Set me free
From chains of the physical
Oh free me
Oh free me

Steve Conte and Maaya Sakamoto:
The mirror melts
Somewhere else
Inside eternity

Where you, on outstretched wings,
Sing within
The garden of everything

Where memories call to me
Backward dreams
Or phantom reality
Call to me
Call to me

Steve Conte:
So here we are lovers of lost dimensions
Maaya Sakamot:
Itsuka hi no kaze ni noote haruka tooi
Steve Conte:
Burning supernovas, of all sound and sight
Maaya Sakamoto:
hayaka no koto e
Steve Conte:
Every touch, a temptation
Maaya Sakamoto:
Itsuku sora hitotsu michimono hi Wataateyukeyu
Steve Conte:
And for every sense, a sensation
Maaya Sakamoto:
hanateta koto e

Steve Conte:
Eyes of pure
Deep azure
Quite unbelievable

Sun's daughter, you've been made
Not to fade
Quite inconceivable

Each atom sings to me
Set me free
From chains of the physical
Oh free me
Oh free me

Steve Conte and Maaya Sakamoto:
A love like ours
A starry flower
Through seasons and centuries

As rivers reach the sea
You reach me
With songs of your symmetry

A small boat, there will float
To far off coasts
The Isle of Infinity
Come with me
Come with me
Come with me
Come with me

Here we'll see
Love's lost tree
Made out of miracles

Emotions, crystal leaves
To cover me,
And you in eternity

Each atom sings to us
Through the blood
Love is a miracle
Sing softly
Sing softly
Sing softly

Steve Conte:
So here we are lovers of lost dimensions
Maaya Sakamoto:
Itsuka hi no kaze ni noote haruka tooi
Steve Conte:
Burning supernovas, of all sound and sight
Maaya Sakamoto:
hayaka no koto e
Steve Conte:
Every touch , a temptation
Maaya Sakamoto:
Itsuku sora hitotsu michimono hi Wataateyukeyu
Steve Conte:
And for every sense, a sensation
Maaya Sakamoto:
hanateta koto e

Steve Conte:
So here we are twin stars, brilliant brightness
Maaya Sakamoto:
Itsuka hi no kaze ni noote haruka tooi
Steve Conte:
Lanterns lit by life for all the depths of night
Maaya Sakamoto:
hayaka no koto e
Steve Conte:
And every day will return us
Maaya Sakamoto:
Itsuku sora hitotsu michimono hi Wataateyukeyu
Steve Conte:
To arms of the ever eternal
Maaya Sakamoto:
hanateta koto e

Steve Conte:
So here we are, so far from earthly orbits
Maaya Sakamoto:
Itsuka hi no kaze ni noote haruka tooi
So here we are
Steve Conte:
Burning supernovas, of all sound and sight
Maaya Sakamoto:
hayaka no koto e
Steve Conte:
Where every day will return us
Maaya Sakamoto:
Itsuku sora hitotsu michimono hi Wataateyukeyu
Every day will return us...
Steve Conte:
To arms of the ever eternal
Maaya Sakamoto:
hanateta koto e

Steve Conte:
Here we are...
Maaya Sakamoto:
Here we are...

Steve Conte & Maaya Sakamoto:
Lovers of lost dimensions

Steve Conte:
Where every day will return us
To arms of the ever (+Maaya Sakamoto): eternal

I mean...I've almost got Steve's parts down perfectly...unfortunately I probably wouldn't sing it for you or in front of you sweatdrop crying I'm sick right now, unfortunately, so my singing's not that great...but One thing I would like...to sing this with Carla...that'd be very, very nice ^ ^ heart whee

but yeah, I like to sing.

Anyways, peace out guys~ and have a great rest of your 3-day weekend XDDD
heart Justin heart
