okay, so things aren't quite as simple and carefree as i thought. i mean, seriously, did anyone really expect a 15 year old farm to actually know just how much chaos was really out there? the craziest things that have happened to me were either because of dares or something completely unknown (such as my late fiance's ailment) springing up.
i did not expect to be drafted into the army. of course, it was rather amusing watching Davis panic a bit because Jacob and Cecile made even more of a fuss over the whole situation than i would have even thought to, but still. 15. and all because Derik and Jasper just had to open their mouths. it figures. now i work in a supply unit prepping and shipping out the orders to the different units. i hear about everything that is going on from the other people here, and it doesn't sound good. we've lost a few units and some of the cities already.
i just hope things start looking up soon. i don't want to be one of the people they write home to the families about and cause grief for them.
