Me: Yatta! The 3rd part! I think this one is a little shorter than the rest. sweatdrop Oh, well! Enjoy! ^^

The first hour, biology, went by slowly for Gaara. He didn’t know anyone in it except Neji (but he was annoying), and his teacher kept picking on him since he was new.
“Gaara! What is an echidna?”
“Does it look like I’d know the answer to that?”
“If you paid more attention, then maybe you would’ve, since I just explained it a minute ago.”
“Its not my fault your lessons make me want to drown myself in a puddle.”
“Well, you just earned yourself a detention, smartass!”

“Wow, Gaara! It’s not every day that you’re cussed at by a teacher!” Neji said slapping Gaara on the back.
Gaara kept walking straight until he got to his locker, getting a lot of weirded out looks and he went by. Next hour was geometry.
‘Eh…I don’t think so.’ he thought. ‘I hate math, and everything else. I’m just gonna skip…’ He slammed his head into his locker to fully close it and walked the opposite direction of the classroom: towards the back door. On his way, he looked inside each of the classrooms. They were all so neat and orderly. No goofing off happening at all.
‘This is just like a prison.’
Passing a door, he noticed that one of the students in the classroom was asleep. And of course, it was Shikamaru. The teacher came over and lifted his head up by his ponytail to wake him up. It didn’t work. Under his head was a puddle of drool. Gaara laughed slightly and continued. Something about this place was weird, but he liked it. He had never been this happy to be at a school before. Maybe it was the people, or maybe, just one person…
Gaara got to the end of the hall and walked out the door. He looked around to see if anyone was looking, then remembered ‘This isn’t a prison.’ and casually walked to a bench to read his manga (though it was slightly torn and still a bit soggy).
“May I sit here?” a familiar voice cooed. Gaara looked up to see Lee’s smiling face. He sat down next to him without waiting for him to reply.
Gaara looked at him. “What are you doing?”
“Sitting by you.”
“No, I mean, you don’t seem like the kinda guy to skip school.”
“Then what kind of guy do I seem like?”
Gaara blushed.
“It is okay. You don’t need to answer that. Ha ha.”
‘What the hell is wrong with me?!’ Gaara swallowed.
“Oh, is that your book?”
“Obviously.”
“I mean the one you dropped when I bumped into you?”
Gaara nodded.
“I am sorry. I will get you a new one as soon as—“
“It’s okay. You don’t need to—“
“I must! It would be impolite!”
“Lee! No! It’s OKAY. Be impolite!” Gaara said now getting agitated. Lee looked down and started laughing. Gaara stared at him. ‘What the hell is wrong with this guy?’
“What’s so funny?”
“Ah ha ha! It is just that—“
“What?”
“My girlfriend—“
Gaara was shocked. ‘This guy?! Has a GIRLFRIEND?!’
“Ah ha…okay. Actually…it is not all that funny…” Lee said suddenly looking a little sad.
Gaara was confused.
“Awhile ago, I got a crush on her. She was not very nice. She was actually kind of mean, but I liked her anyway. She was beautiful, smart and talented… I did not think she would ever respect me for who I was…until one day, she asked me out. It was so surprising. At first, I was so happy, but now…”
“What?”
Lee turned to Gaara with a different tone in his voice.
“It turns out, she only started dating me because Naruto admitted his love to Sasuke.”
“And what does that have to do with you?”
“Sakura was in love with Sasuke. How would you like it if you found out your true love was in love with someone else? And to make matters worse, Sasuke was in love with another boy.”
“Her name is Sakura?”
“Yes. She made a bet with her friend or rival…that she could get and keep, a boyfriend for a week, before Ino did, and Sakura won. She asked me out on the same day Naruto and Sasuke started seeing each other, and the day they made that stupid bet... She cried for awhile, but got over it so fast, it was like she never loved Sasuke.”
Gaara twitched with anger. How could anybody treat someone like that? Especially him…
“Dump her a**!” he yelled.
Lee looked shocked. “I-I can’t…”
“…wha?”
“I can’t!” Lee’s eyes started to fill with tears. “I-I love her!”
Gaara didn’t know what to say. He had never helped anyone in this way before…Love? To him it was only a word. A meaningless word that people used too much, but Lee seemed to really mean what he said. Gaara frowned.
“Lee! Do you really like her?”
He nodded.
“Do you like the things she does to you?”
He didn’t say anything.
“Well?!”
“No!”
“…then why do you care so much?”
“…it’s not that simple, Gaara-kun.”
“…you’re right.”
Lee looked at him.
“You’re thinking ‘How would he know?’ right? Well…you’re right. I’ve never been in love…or loved anyone. I’m untrustworthy and I can’t stand being in the same room with someone for 10 minutes, but I know how to let someone go. You don’t need to break up, just…tell her how you feel.”
‘I sound like his mother…’ he thought. Was this really coming from him?
“Yeah, okay.” Lee said wiping the tears away and standing up. “I will do that, and if I don’t succeed, I will buy you a new book!”
“Uh…didn’t we discuss this already?” Gaara said giving Lee a sympathetic look. Lee laughed and lifted Gaara up by his arm again.
“Okay, enough with the touching! I can get up myself.” Gaara said.
Lee dropped him and he fell in the dirt.
“That’s not what I meant.”
