I feel much better today. It's good to be alone. At this time in my life I think it's best that I don't have a boyfriend. I guess I was just sick of being in a relationship. The constant drama, the need to worry about another person all the time, etc. Not a real one at least wink I've got Shino. Toboe isn't so bad either. And of course there's Jack Sparrow heart And now I have pizza! Bug boy, Wolf boy, a pirate and pizza! My life is complete...

Now I can concentrate on things like bringing my spanish grade up and dealing with the snotty preps. Today they had the nerve to insult my Naruto headband (I was wearing it on my neck). Why are people so closed minded? Just because you don't understand some things about anime, doesn't mean that anime is stupid and that it's not a good show. I pity those who's puny minds don't understand the concept of cultural differences.

If you really look into the anime, you'll find that it's rich with Japanese folklore and culture. Don't challenge me to a match of Kikyo vs Kagome. Especially if you haven't done your research on Shintoism. I hate to tell you Kikyo/Inuyasha fans this, but Kikyo is destined to wind up alone. I'm sorry she had such a tragic little past, but that doesn't mean she deserves Inuyasha. Kikyo came back from hell. Does that tell you anything? Do nice people go to hell when they die?

Kikyo is a hungry ghost called a Gaki. A Gaki is the spirit of a jealous or greedy person who has been cursed with a hunger for a particular substance or object. Usually it's something repugnant or humiliating such as a human corpse or feces, but in Kikyo's case it's the souls of dead women.

It's also believed that when a person is reincarnated the soul has "learned it's lesson". This means that the soul is one step closer to being like a god. Not only is Kagome more powerful Kikyou now, she more powerful than Kikyou ever was.

And what's up with the whole "Kagome should thank Kikyou for the powers" crap? Kagome was born with her powers. When she fell down the well and had to face a demon, she discovered her powers. Not only that, she had to learn to use her powers on her own. She worked hard at it and so she's surpassed Kikyo. Kikyou did not one day bestow her spiritual powers upon Kagome and train her to use them.

And another thing- "Why is Kagome's outfit so skimpy?". Every time she goes home Inuyasha bugs her to come back. So when she gets home from school she has to hurry up and go with Inuyasha. Do you really think Inuyasha would give her time to change?

"Why is she so freakishly happy?" Well because she's not a soul sucking Gaki for one thing.

Do you realize that the reason Kikyo is alive is because of hate? That's all that's left of her. If she were ever to finally come to terms with everything she would cease to exist.

My point is Kikyo fans are in denial. She was unhappy in life. She's unhappy in death. People should quit bringing her back so she can finally rest in peace.
