Chapter 1 : A Sisters Blood Bond
I awoke to my dear roomate, Sally, shaking me.
"Oh God Nami you are okay!"
She held my head to hers. Her eyes were puffy and red and I looked around the room. Blood
was on her bed and my eyes widened. Looking back into her eyes I could see pain.
"What happened Sally? Why are you bleeding?!"
Blood dripped down her legs and she pulled away from me and sat on her bed. So much pain
filled the room, hatered fading slowly. I stood up, my silver hair over my shoulders and eyes white.
"What happened Sally, tell me now or...."
I lowered my voice and walked to her.
"He did it.....Devon."
"I will return, pack your clothes and some food for yourself. Take my black dress out and the box
I told you to never open."
She nodded.
"When will you return to me Nami...."
"Tonight."
I grabbed my neko-tes and tessen and continued out the door. I stopped and grapped the mp3
that sat on the table. The music was Sally's but it would do. I walked out looking at the pavement.
Blood stains here and there.
"What an idoit."
The rain dance on the ground below like a feather caught in the wind. I stopped and pulled my hair
up letting the rain fall on my unprotected body. Taking off I ran through the trees, swinging from the
branches to the roofs of the neary houses. Devon's car sat in the shade of the tree, but he was there
leaning against the tree smoking a cigarette. His black hair was stuck to his face but I saw his grin,
the blood dripping off his arm and from his mouth. How dare he harm Sally like that! How dare he
mock me by waitting as though he knew his fate! How dare he stand there, alive! The mp3 switched
to Korn, Good God. I jumped down and looked him in the eyes.
"What a shame Nami you are such a pretty little thing."
"You know what you did so you ran."
"No just wanted to be alone with you, you are so predictable."
"Did you harm Sally?!"
"Yeah what of it?"
The moment I moved his blade cut in my stomach. I stood there, eyes white, emotionless, filled with
hatered. Devon's eyes widened as my neko-tes ripped into his sides.
"Do you feel that Devon? Do you feel that stinging?"
The mp3 went on to Korn, Kill You. He spat up blood and his eyes seemed to be shaking back and foward.
"Do you feel it? Answer me!"
"Y-yes I feel it....I feel it."
"Do you know what it is that is now running through your veins?"
Before he could answer blood ran from his mouth. His body began to spazz out and I grinned,
pushing the neko-tes deeper into him. His blood stained my hands. Eyes changed to red in a
matter of seconds.
"Yes die you worthless piece of s**t. Suffer though, I want you to remember when you rot in Hell who
sent you there. Remember Nami damned you there for an eternity. Remember."
I rubbed my face against his, letting his blood be a sign of his death. I tossed the body in the car and got
some of the gas from the back and poured it all over him and the inside. Taking a cigarette I took a drag and
tossed it in the car as I walked off. I heard his screams for help but that was soon covered by the smell
of burning human flesh. I turned off the street way and sat on a rock that looked over a stream. Beautiful
Koi and Carps swam through as though there was nothing to life but to swim. Memories ran though my head of
my father and mother screaming at each other. Him slamming her head against the table while I watched from behind
a small door, hating him, wanting to kill him, seek revenge for my poor mother. I growled as the memories
became more intense. I almost hear him screaming at me, smell the whiskey on his breath. I nails dug into rock.
"Worthless little b***h, bite me again and I will beat you like your mother!"
Tears ran down my face and I got off the rock. Walking along the stream I saw Sally waiting there.
"How did you know I would be here?"
"I know you better then you think Nami."
Her smile caused me to turn away. She walked over to me and wipped the tears
from my face,
"There there, come on we have to go Nami, before I left there was a man looking for you."
"A man?"
"Yeah he had red hair and.."
"Damnit! Its too soon for him to be here. C'mon."
I grabbed her and put her on my back, taking off the minute I knew she had a tight grip.
