I mean, it's completely irrational. I'll just be minding my own business, then I'll see or hear something that makes me feel completely incompetent/worthless. And, as stated before, I understand exactly how silly these feelings are. I don't need anyone to tell me that.
It just screws up my head, puts blinders on me. I can't see any of the good things in life. I need someone to hit me over the head, someone I know well enough to bring me out of these weird moments. The other thing is, I can't bring myself to really talk to someone about it [one-on-one, I'm fine with broad confessions like this one], someone I'm familiar enough with to understand my little quirks and tics.

Oh God. Alright, I just got up to get some goldfish [crackers] and she was sitting on the floor, helpfully watching my mother and father install new floorboards. She turns around to look at me and, thinking that the goldfish bag in my hand is a bag of Pepperidge Farm cookies or someshit, says, "Oh, those cookies don't even compare to my homemade ones." [she notices that it is, indeed, not filled with cookies a moment later and apologizes, w/o retracting the comment]
Okay. Here's the thing: I've tasted her homemade cookies. I almost HUUUURRGHED in my mouth a little bit. They are like rocks. Nutty flavored rocks with smaller rocks embedded in them that might have been chocolate chips when dinosaurs roamed the earth.

Commodore 'Fartface' Rasputin is a picky little b*****d. I buy nice flakes and Hikari betta food for him and all he does is spit those out [a hilarious sight, I must say]. All he'll eat are the fancy bloodworms I give him.
I only put up with him because he's pretty and he gets excited when I walk into my bedroom. I'll post a picture of him up here, soon.
