Does anyone else have the Amelie soundtrack? I haven't watched the movie, but I burned the soundtrack off of my Geometry teacher, Chala, and how it relaxes me so...
Anyway, a few things have happened over the past week. The biggest is that I went to the best concert I have ever been to so far. Now, everytime I saw this, people at school ask, "Oh yeah? Who did you see?" I reply with a smile, "My Chemical Romance." And then they give me this weird look, and then I'm discouraged from talking about it. Please, if you have your doubts, just listen to their latest album. Their music has matured out of it's emo phase. Don't get me wrong, their lyrics still deal with death, and their still is that dark sense to their music, but still. C'mon. Just give it a try.
Anyway! The concert was marvelous. ^^ I had so much fun, even if I didn't really like the opening act (Rise Against. No offense to any fans out their). Gerard entered the stage in a great fashion: on a stretcher, IV and all. It was just great though, everyone sang along to every song, and I swear, I thought I'd be hoarse the next day because I was literally singing my heart out. There was pyro, falling lights, strobe lights, confetti, two spiffy zepillins, some Gerard hip shaking, waving cell phones/lighters, and oh so much more. I swear, I nearly cried at some points. At one point, I was thinking of the few people who had given me a strange look when I told them who I was going to see. Then I thought, 'Screw them! They're missing the most awesome show ever!' I just thought, who cares, I'm having a great time, I'm actually enjoying myself, there are other people here enjoying themselves, my mom is enjoying herself, who cares...

Oh, I didn't go to school today because I had to take care of my fever riden sister. She's not really getting any better, so I don't know if we're going to school tomorrow. It wouldn't really matter though, tomorrow's a half day anyway...
