Bad Day
I rolled out of the wrong side,
with a crash, hitting the floor.
The day was looking hopeless
And I didn't ask for more.
Staggering myself around,
I managed to get things done.
But never in my life had
six plus seven equal one.
Finally school is over,
and back to my house I go,
to be locked outside the house,
and forced to watch the trees grow.
Next time you want to wake me,
Oh please, just please, let me be.
