Well, in December the child support checks that my father sends stopped coming so my mom went to her lawyer to find out why. Turns out my dad's out of money. He's completely broke. He lost the job he had at Seaworld. He doesn't have any money for anything. He got kicked out of the apartment he was living in because he couldn't pay rent. Now he's living in a flood control channel somewhere. When my parents got divorced they sold the condo we were originally living in and split the money. My dad put most of his stuff in a storage unit since he didn't have the room for it in his new apartment. Well, he couldn't keep up on the payments there either so they sold all his stuff. It's really sad that things have turned out this way. He wont talk to anyone either. He has a P.O. box that we started sending letters to but he wont answer to anyone. Not me, not my brother, not my mom, not his mom, not his dad, not his sisters. No one. His mother's seen him walking down the street and pulled over to try to talk to him but he just ignores her and keeps walking. It's terrible... I don't know what to do. As terrible as treated us I feel horrible that he's ending up this way.
